#29 — The Mistress’s Daughter

#29 — The Mistress’s Daughter by A.M. Homes
Rating: 3/5
  • A memoir written by a writer who is equal parts intriguing and frightening
  • Like a good memoir, the book provides some insight into the writer– I feel like I understand her work more
  • While illuminating, the book also simultaneously creates additional questions that remain unanswered. Perhaps out of respect for her adoptive family, she doesn’t mention them or her upbringing all that much
