#16 — Heroes of the Frontier

Heroes of the Frontier by Dave Eggers
Rating: 3/5
  • A mother walks away from her professional life as a dentist, as well as a long-term relationship with her children’s father in Ohio by renting a RV and exploring Alaska with her two kids
  • Nothing really dramatic happens, but that is true to life
  • Not as good as Eggers’ other books– it’s not light enough to be a beach read, it’s not really a travel novel, and not deep and dark enough for philosophers and emos
