#76 — Don’t You Cry

Don’t You Cry by Mary Kubica
Rating: 3/5
  • A girl with the perfect roommate wakes up to discover that her roommate is missing; a teenaged dishwasher at a diner strikes up a friendship with a mysterious woman who begins to frequent the diner– the narratives switch back and forth between the two perspectives and the connections are made clear at the end
  • Not plausible as a story, and there was an innocent lamb sacrificed at the end– but overall, it was a quick and engaging read
