#63 — The Nest

The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney
Rating 3/5
  • The Nest is in reference to an inheritance that 4 adult children will receive when the youngest turns 40. Unfortunately for them, the amount is less than they were anticipating when the matriarch uses the money to bail out the eldest
  • It reminds me of a less gritty, NYC version of the Patrick Melrose Novels. Unlike British aristocracy problems, which I don’t know anything about, a story about NYC nouveau riche problems is all too familiar — these types are virtually unavoidable if you live in New York
