#57 — Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology

Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology by Leah Remini and Rebecca Paley
Rating: 3/5
  • Although this book does sensationalize things sometimes, gets catty and petty in certain portions, and may be tailored to a very specific audience (i.e. US Weekly/In Touch magazine subscribers), it reads similarly to Going Clear, which one can consider the more “respected” and “academic” of the mainstream books that have recently been published about Scientology
  • I checked this book out at the library with low expectations because I’m judgmental and a snob but I liked it better than I thought I would or care to admit
