#56 — Wreck and Order

Wreck and Order by Hannah Tennant-Moore
Rating: 2/5
  • The book is about wreck, rather than order — if I had to guess this character’s Myers Briggs type, she would be an INFP, as there’s too much resemblance between her and some of my tortured-soul friends
  • I feel the same way about the main character as I do my friends — I want to throttle them and tell them to get it together! While I personally can’t get so emotionally worked up about things like they do, it’s always interesting to hear their perspective about how they experience the world, since it’s so vastly different
  • Overall, it’s a little too whiny and self-indulgent for my liking and I definitely glossed over and skipped some parts; it was exhausting to read, as I couldn’t muster much sympathy for Elsie, the main character. I was glad when I was done
