#48 and #49 — Please Understand Me II and My True Type: Clarifying Your Personality Type, Preferences

#48 and #49 — Please Understand Me II by David Keirsey, and My True Type: Clarifying Your Personality Type, Preferences by Dr. A.J. Drenth

  • Both books are about the Myers Briggs type indicator; while it’s difficult to peg all of humanity into 16 different types of personalities, the idea is prevalent enough in management circles and the world beyond, so it’s worth the read
  • While a former colleague likened the Myers Briggs to a more expensive form of astrology, there’s something satisfying about having your quirks “explained”
  • Having tested as inconclusive in the E-I, N-S categories, I was hoping for some clarity — in my mind, I still remain inconclusive
