  • He was preaching to the choir, so I didn’t get much out of the book… there was a lot of internal head nodding. Being a part-time vegan is a good idea in theory and seems more feasible, allowing you the flexibility to be a carnivore for one meal a day
  • If you don’t like tomatoes, it will be easy to fall off the vegan wagon if you only use this book as a guide. Scott Jurek’s book, Born to Run is a good complement. There are less recipes in Jurek’s book but uses a greater diversity of ingredients
