  • Minimalist menu of Hawaiian fare; it seems like a bar more than a restaurant
  • Spam musubi was good, served maki style with chunks of pineapple
  • The Salmon Ramen’s overwhelming flavor was fish — not sure if that was a good thing
  • The Aloha Taco Program included a fish, chicken and pork taco — weirdly enough the chicken was the best. The fish was over battered and the pork shoulder was really oily and so full of juices that it was hard to eat. The fried wonton skins that served as taco shells were interesting and held up pretty well
  • Cash only, but that was not made clear to us until we got the check
