Tea & Sympathy

Where: 108 Greenwich Avenue (@ Jane Street), NYC

  • If you go at 9pm on a Saturday, the only patrons will be two old men and a Ty Burrell look-a-like. It’s also fun to look at the drunks/partiers walking by with curious looks
  • English food isn’t that great, and eating dinner here reinforced this notion
  • It’s worth coming for the tea time though — the scones with clotted cream and jam was decent, and the rhubarb crumble with custard was amazing. All washed down with a large pot of tea, which was refilled for free. Bonus: the crumble was served on a Kate and William engagement plate
