Pine Bar & Grill

Where: 1634 Eastchester Rd, Bronx

  • In a remote part of the Bronx — a bit of a hike from Westchester Square on the 6 train. The Bx31 and Bx21 are close by
  • Cheap and large portions; the bar nuts on the tables are a bonus. The table got the quesadillas, calamari, artichoke dip, penne a la vodka — a step up from Applebee’s, not particularly mind-blowing
  • Very spacious. The downstairs had a large bar area, some tables, and a dining area. The rooftop was closed when I went, as was the upstairs room, which looks like it can be used for events
