  • I vowed never to go back to a restaurant owned by Bouley (I was rendered the dungeon basement treatment a couple of years back that is documented by others here, here and here) but I didn’t make the reservation so I went grudgingly
  • $45 for a 3-course lunch isn’t a bad value; I felt full afterward. We spent just as much buying fizzy water, tea, and dessert, so beware!
  • I caught the only caucasian chef sneezing several times into his coat — gross
  • The food is okay, but there are other places that are just as good, not as pretentious, and not owned by Bouley
