Smorgasburg & the Brooklyn Flea

Where: 1000 Dean Street, Brooklyn NY 11238

  • Went to the Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg for the first time in a couple of years. The hipsters have grown up… they have pricier haircuts and are bringing their small children — definitely a different vibe.
  • Dough is awesome — got the hibiscus, salty caramel chocolate, and passionfruit.
  • Lonestar Empire’s brisket sandwich was also a winner — the pickles that you can get on the side were the best.
  • Milk Truck Grilled Cheese’s ham and cheese was good, but I would get another brisket sandwich from Lonestar for the same price. It doesn’t seem fair that they are right next to each other.
