Where: 505 Columbus Avenue (bet 84th/85th)
- Strange quirk: of the two times I’ve been, the hostess likes to seat you in the most undesirable of places, despite it being a very large space that is nearly empty (e.g., right next to the door, the dirty corner table in the clammy basement room)
- Get: sheep’s milk dumplings, souvlaki platter
- Don’t: the hand rolled pasta on special — the artichoke/sun-dried tomato/basil/wine sauce was good, but the pasta was al dente to the point of being raw. My own fault for not ordering something more typically Greek?
